I've always loved charm necklaces- they're unique & customizable, and a great way to personalize a gift for someone (or yourself!). For this design, I charmed-up three layers of chain and added a layer of bead chain to give it some more color.
gold paperclip chain, lobster clasps, jump rings, assorted charms (see below for the ones I used), gold 24 gauge wire, green aventurine heishi's, 3mm crystal rondelles
For the first layer, use the 3mm crystals, green aventurine heishi's, 24 gauge wire, and the small paperclip chain to make the bead chain. Make bead links and attach them directly to the paperclip chain. I left one link of chain in between each bead link. I made this to be choker-length, so it measures 15" including the lobster clasp at the end.
For the second layer, I used the textured paperclip chain & it measures 16" long.
For the third layer, I used the regular paperclip chain & it measures 17" long.
For the final layer, I used the medium paperclip chain, & it measures 23" long.
