Deck the Halls Necklace
by Elaina W on 12/03/20
About this design:
For this design, I used Czech glass, seed beads, and gold hematite to create this focal necklace. I love the colors of the Czech glass- they really seem to glow!
What you’ll need: (buy products below)
- Gold 22 or 24 Gauge Wire
- Gold Headpins
- Gold Chain
- Pink 11/0 Seed Beads
- Gold Jump Rings
- Gold Hematite 4-Sided Tubes
- Garnet Tiny Tassels
- Silver Czech Glass Fire Polished 4mm Rounds
- Apatite Faceted Round 3-4mm
Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1: Begin by making 4 bead links with the wire & Czech glass. I used a mix of the aqua w/ gold and the bottle green AB 4mm rounds. Each link should have 7 beads. Next, headpins to make 4 bead charms- slide on 2 pink seed beads & a gold hematite tube. Attach the charms directly to the bead links. Next, you'll need 2 small pieces of wire. Make a loop on one end of each wire. Slide on the bead links, each separated by a Czech glass silver 4mm round bead. When you've finished, make a loop at the other end. See Tip: Make a Wire Wrapped Bead Link See Tip: Wire Wrap a Charm |

Step 2: Use the 3mm jump rings to attach a 2" piece of chain to the bottom of the ends of the bead links. Attach a tassel to the bottom of the chain with jump rings. |

Step 3: Use jump rings to attach two 5" pieces of chain to the top of the bead link focal piece. |

Step 4: Use the wire to make bead links with the Czech glass, apatite, seed beads, and gold hematite tubes. Connect the links directly to one another until you've reached 3.5". Repeat so you have another 3.5" piece of bead links. See Tip: Make a Wire Wrapped Bead Link |

Step 5: Attach the bead links to the gold chain with a jump ring, or directly to the chain. Attach two more 5" pieces of chain to each side of the necklace- directly to the bead chain. Finish by attaching a lobster clasp & jump ring t the end. |
