Love the colorful silk against the kraft paper wrap. The tassels are a nice touch too. I like that if you give the gift to a crafty person, they can reuse the materials in a craft or bead project.

Wonderful idea. Has anyone used these ribbons in jewelry making? I fear they may continue to fray with normal wear and don’t want to sell an item that my customer may be concerned about damaging. Any ideas on how to prevent further fraying not only on the ends but both sides of the lengths as well?
