These necklaces are easy to make & are great for layering together for a statement-making look, or just wearing a couple if you like to keep it simple. I especially love using the paperclip chain for these necklaces- it makes it super easy to hang charms from!
Assorted styles of chain, small gemstones, seed beads, charms, 24 gauge wire, jump rings, lobster clasps.
For the first necklace, begin with two 7" pieces of chain. Use a jump ring to attach the carnelian link to the two pieces of chain. Cut the chain about half way up. Make 2 bead links with the carnelian 4mm rounds & attach the links directly to each side of the chain. Finish by attaching a jump ring & lobster clasp to the ends.
Use the wire to make bead links with the gemstones & seed beads. Attach the links throughout your desired lengths of chain (either attach them directly to the chain links or attach with jump rings). These necklaces are 21" & 23" long.
Use jump rings to attach charms to your desired lengths of chain. These necklaces are 16.5" & 21" long.
