Island Breeze Anklet
About this design:
Inspired by a carefree, breezy day at the beach, I paired an assortment of pearls with silk chiffon ribbon, gold chain, & seed beads to create this layered anklet (or it can easily be worn as a bracelet as well!)
What you’ll need: (buy products below)
- Silk chiffon Ribbon
- Assorted 11/0 Seed Beads
- Beading Needles
- Gold Ribbon Crimp Ends
- Gold round wire cable chain
- Gold rollo chain
- Potato pearls
- Petal pink biwa pearl coin
- Petal pink rice pearls
- Super glue
- Gold Headpins
- Gold Lobster Clasps
- Gold Jump Rings
- C-Lon White Size AA Thread

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1: Begin with your desired length of rollo chain. Slide the ribbon through the first chain link & tie a knot. Secure with a drop of glue. Weave the ribbon in & out of the chain links until you've reached the end. Tie another knot at the end, and secure with a drop of glue. Finish by attaching a jump ring & lobster clasp. |

Step 2: For the second anklet, I made bead charms with the pearls & attached them directly to the chain. Finish with a jump ring & lobster clasp. |

Step 3: For the last anklet (or bracelet), slide the ends of the ribbon into a crimp end with a bit of glue, and use pliers to clamp down. Attach a jump ring to one end, and a lobster clasp to the other end. Next, using the c-lon thread & a collapsible beading needle, sew on the rice pearls & seed beads. Place a small drop of glue at the ends of the thread to secure. |
