Acetate & Pearl Mandala Necklace
by Elaina W on 04/29/21
About this design:
For this design, I made bead links with rice pearls & attached them to an acetate mandala focal to create this long-length necklace. I love the look of the pearl links, but mixing together different colors of tiny Czech glass or seed beads would look great too!
What you’ll need: (buy products below)
- Acetate Openwork Mandala Focal
- Rice Pearls
- 24 or 26 Gauge Gold Wire
- Gold Chain
- Gold 6mm Jump Rings
- Gold Headpins
Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1: Begin by making bead links with the rice pearls. Connect the links directly to one another- I made 7 strands, each with 3 bead links and a bead charm on the ends. Attach the strands of bead links to the bottom of the acetate focal with jump rings. Use jump rings to attach chain to the top of the focal. I used a 29" piece of chain so it would be long enough to fit overhead. See Tip: Make a Wire Wrapped Bead Link See Tip: Wire Wrap a Charm |
