Acetate Bib Necklace

About this design:

For this design, I used green opal & opal acetate stick drops to create this statement bib necklace. I love how the two different colors of acetate look together, and how fun it is to wear!

What you’ll need: (buy products below)

  • Green Opal Acetate Stick Drops (10)
  • Opal Acetate Stick Drops (9)
  • Seed Pearls 2mm
  • Beading Wire
  • Gold Chain
  • Gold Crimp Tubes & Covers
  • Gold Lobster Clasp
  • Gold Jump Rings

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1:
Begin with a piece of beading wire about 4" long. Make a loop with the wire through the bottom link of an 8" piece of chain & secure with a crimp tube & cover. Slide on 4 seed pearls and the acetate sticks, alternating colors. I used a total of 19 sticks. Finish by sliding on 4 more seed pearls. Slide the end of the wire through another 8" piece of chain, forming a loop & securing with a crimp tube & cover. Finish by attaching a jump ring & lobster clasp to the ends of the chain.
