I love long necklaces. They are great for layering or just throwing on quick to level up an outfit. I also LOVE Green Girl Studios and Gaea, they both possess a connection to nature and magic in their work. Combining their pieces seemed natural with this design. I have been making focal clusters for as long as I can remember with my favorite found objects and artist pieces. A long chain was ideal since I could add interest by doubling up my chain in places and making interesting beaded links.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1

Begin by creating your chain. I varied my chain by doubling up the chain and by using single chain lengths between wire wrapped bead links. I made my chain 32" long.

Step 2

Once your chain is complete you need to create a large wire wrapped bead link. Your top loop should join together your chain ends. Then string on your focal beads and finish with a large loop. Before closing this loop, string on the Green Girl pendant.
