Peaceful Embers Necklace
by Elaina W on 09/16/21
About this design:
This week I wanted to design something with a color palette that I don't normally use, and I love the way it turned out! For this necklace, I used carnelian, lepidolite, & turquoise impression jasper, along with silver & bronze accents. I think pairing together an unexpected color combination can really help to add interest to an otherwise simple design!
What you’ll need: (buy products below)
Brass 24 gauge wire, assorted gemstones (I used carnelian, lepidolite, turquoise impression jasper, and rock crystal), silver 3mm round beads, silver tubes, headpins, and a peace sign pendant
Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1: Make a bead link with a 4.5mm turquoise impression jasper round, and attach the bottom of the link directly to the peace sign pendant. Make another bead link with an 8mm carnelian round & attach it directly to the top of the turquoise link. See Tip: Make a Wire Wrapped Bead Link |

Step 2: Use the brass 24 gauge wire to make bead links with the carnelian, lepidolite, turquoise impression jasper, rock crystal rondelles, and the silver tubes. I started each side of the necklace with a turquoise impression jasper bead link that I attached directly to the carnelian link from step 1. Connect each link directly to one another. Continue making bead links until your bead chain is about 26" long. Lastly, I made 4 bead charms using headpins & the silver rounds and attached them to the first few bead links in the necklace. dolllady aka Pam says:What a fun necklace! The colors are some favorites. I can see it worn with a sweater or long sleeved tee for winter. It would also be great with a t-shirt for summer. It makes me feel young again as it reminds of the late 60′s and early 70′s.
