Sage Blossom Necklace Set
by Elaina W on 09/23/21
About this design:
I used a mix of Czech glass, Green Aventurine, Peach Moonstone, Freshwater Pearls, and gold accents to create this late-summer inspired necklace set.
What you’ll need: (buy products below)
Gold 24 gauge wire, beading wire, Czech glass rounds, Czech glass leaves, Czech glass teardrops, gold crimp tubes & covers, gold headpins, gold daisy focal link, moonstone link, green aventurine 4mm heishi, gold 10mm round links, peach moonstone 4mm rounds, freshwater rice pearls, gold chain, gold 3mm jump rings, gold 8/0 seed beads, light blue 11/0 seed beads
Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1: Using the 24 gauge wire, make a bead link with 2 gold 8/0 seed beads & a Czech glass Rosaline 6mm round in the middle. Using a 3mm jump ring, attach the top of this link to the gold 10mm round link. Use the wire to make bead links with the gemstones & Czech glass (connecting the links directly to one another) until you have a 1.5" bead link strand. Repeat this 4 times. Attach the 4 bead link strands to the bottom of the single bead link with a jump ring. Attach a gold daisy focal to the bottom of one of the strands with a jump ring. Make bead charms with the Czech glass & attach to the bottom of the rest of the strands. See Tip: Make a Wire Wrapped Bead Link See Tip: Wire Wrap a Charm |

Step 2: Make another bead link with one Czech glass Rosaline 6mm round. Attach the bottom of the link to the top of the 10mm gold round link. Attach the top of the link to the center on a 3" piece of gold chain using a jump ring. Make 4 bead charms with the Czech glass teardrops & 2 bead charms with the 11/0 light blue seed beads. Attach the charms directly to the chain. Make bead links with the green aventurine, peach moonstone, Czech glass, and pearls until you've reached 1" and attach to each end of the chain. I also attached a moonstone link to one side, and a 10mm gold round link to the other side. See Tip: Make a Wire Wrapped Bead Link |

Step 3: Loop a 20" piece of beading wire (I made it long enough to fit over my head so I didn't need to put a clasp on it) through the end bead link & secure with a crimp tube & cover. Slide the beads on in the order shown. I used a mix of Czech glass, seed beads, green aventurine, pearls, and peach moonstone. Once you've strung on the beads, finish by looping the end of the wire through the end of the link on the other side of the necklace and back down through a crimp tube. Clamp down on the crimp tube to secure & cover with a crimp cover. |

Step 4: For the earrings, slide a piece of wire through the Czech glass leaf. Bring the wire together & twist it. Slide on a 6mm Czech glass rosaline round & an 8/0 gold seed bead. Make a loop at the top. Attach to a gold 10mm round link using a 3mm jump ring. Slide the top of the gold link onto an earwire. |
