Lavender Fields Earring Collection
by Elaina W on 10/28/21
About this design:
When I first saw these energy tubes, my first thought was that they would be perfect for earrings because of their unique shape. I paired them with seed beads, chain, and leather to create a few different styles.
What you’ll need: (buy products below)
Leather cord, gold chain, gold wire, gold earwires, lavender amethyst and pink opal energy tubes, seed beads, gold teardrop focal, gold headpins, jump rings
Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1: Using the gold 24 gauge wire, make a bead link with 3 amethyst energy tubes. Cut two pieces of chain a little less than an inch long. Connect the chain pieces to each side of the bead link with a 3mm jump ring. Connect the chain together with another jump ring. Slide the jump ring onto an earwire. Use light blue & purple 11/0 seed beads and the Czech glass ivory AB 3mm fire polished rounds to make 7 bead links connected to one another. Attach each end to the ends of the Amethyst bead link with the 3mm jump rings. Cut a piece of chain a little shorter than the bead chain you just made, and attach it to the same jump ring. Make another piece of bead chain, this time with 5 bead links. Connect this directly to the ends of the amethyst bead link. See Tip: Make a Wire Wrapped Bead Link |

Step 2: Begin by making three bead charms using the gold headpins & the amethyst energy tubes. Slide the charms onto a piece of leather cord, each separated with a gold 6/0 seed bead. Make a loop with the cord & wrap a piece of wire around it to secure. Attach a 6mm jump ring underneath the wire. Attach another jump ring to the top of the leather loop & slide onto an earwire. Step 3: Using the gold 24 gauge wire, make a bead link with a pink opal energy tube. Connect the link directly to the top loop of the teardrop focal. Slide the top of the bead link onto an earwire. Next, use the gold headpins, light blue 11/0 seed beads, and gold 11/0 seed beads to make 5 bead charms. Attach the charms to the bottom of the teardrop focal with the 3mm jump rings. Lastly, make a bead charm with a purple Czech glass rondelle, gold 8/0 seed bead, and a light blue 11/0 seed bead. Attach the charm to the loop of the teardrop focal with a 3mm jump ring. See Tip: Make a Wire Wrapped Bead Link See Tip: Wire Wrap a Charm |

Step 4: Using the gold 24 gauge wire, make bead links (connected directly to one another) with the lavender amethyst, pink opal, and moonstone energy tubes. Next, use the gold headpins, light blue 11/0 seed beads, and gold 11/0 seed beads to make 3 bead charms. Attach the charms to the bottom link with a jump ring. Slide the top link onto an earwire.
