I love mixing different metal finishes together to create a cool modern vibe. I used stainless steel chain for durability and it comes in so many fabulous styles to pick from, bonus! You can add more chain to this necklace or less depending on your style.
You will need 1ft of each style of chain I have listed, 20 jump rings, (2) 1-5 link, microsuede, 2 Nunn Design large hole nuggets, crimp ends, and a clasp.
These are the chain lengths I used in order from top to bottom, you may need to adjust them slightly: 1. 8" 2. 8.5" 3. 8.75" 4. 9.25" 5. 9.5" 6. 10" 7. 10.75" 8. 11.25" 9. 11.5" 10. 12"
Add a jump ring onto the end of the first chain and attach it to the first hole on the 1-5 link. Add a jump ring to the next chain and attach it to the same hole on the 1-5 link. Do the same from here down. I add two chains per hole on the 1-5 link.
Cut your microsuede in half. Then loop it through the top hole on the 1-5 link. Take one tail and wrap it around the other three then back up through the loop and tighten. Slide on the large hole nugget onto one of the cord tails, do a triple loop again. Even out the ends and attach your fold over crimp ends and clasp.
