Spring Rainbow Necklace
by Andrea at Lima on 04/21/22
About this design:
I fell in love with this modern asymmetrical focal. It needed some embellishing and color. I wire wrapped beads on but you could hang chain or charms from the loops as well. These would be a cool pair of earrings too!
What you’ll need: (buy products below)
You will need Faceted Cubic Zirconia Spring mix, head pins, eye pins, stainless steel chain, and side-drilled pearls.
Step-by-Step Instructions:
Step 1: If needed, cut the chain to your desired length. Keep in mind you will cut the chain again to make space for your bead link. String the beads in the order shown onto the head pin. Slide the head pin wire through the focal loop and wrap the excess wire around and trim. Do the same for the pearl on the opposite side. See Tip: Wire Wrap a Charm |
Step 2: Create a bead link with the cubic zirconia and pearl. Follow the tip below. Cut your chain where you would like to add this link. Slide the eye pin wire through the chain and wrap the excess around. Open the loop end of the eye pin and attach to chain. Next, add your jump ring and clasp on to finish. See Tip: Make a Wire Wrapped Bead Link |
