The combination of earthy picasso finish atop the aquamarine teardrop drew me in! I kept it simple so the beautiful color and finish would still shine through. You could always add tiny seed beads to embellish the wire wrapping.

Supplies you’ll need:

You will need a Czech glass flat teardrop focal, 24 gauge wire, 1-2ft of 2mm leather cord, crimp ends, and a clasp.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1

Cut 2 pieces of 8 inch wire. Slide them both through the hole and separate as shown in the image.

Step 2

Pull on your wire to keep it smooth. Take the back wire on the right side, wrap it around the teardrop twice and back up across, as shown in the image.

Step 3

Take the wire you have wrapped around the teardrop and wrap it around twice to tie all the wire tail together.

Step 4

Use round nose pliers to create a loop with the wire tails, wrap the excess wire around twice. trim any ends off. Now you can slide your pendant onto the cord. Attach crimp ends and clasp.
