Blue Abyss Earrings

About this design:

I wanted to give a faux wire wrapped look by using jump rings. I think it looks very close to wire-wrapping but way easier.

What you’ll need: (buy products below)

You will need 2 Czech teardrops, 3 sizes of texured jump rings, 3mm faceted silver beads, ear posts and 24 gauge wire.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1:
Cut a 4" piece of wire, slide on your teardrop bead and keep upright so you can slide the jump rings on. Start sliding on your jump rings.
  Step 2:
Slide on your jump rings from biggest to smallest, I used 9 all together. Slide on the facteted bead and create a loop at the top with the wire and wrap the excess around the base of the loop and trim. Attach to your ear wires.

Andrea, this is absolutely a brilliant idea!! I can’t believe how much it looks like wire wrapping. I like how the little faceted bead on top keeps them in place. This is an idea I just have to try! :)
