Island Calypso Earrings
About this design:
Shell + tumbled glass = beach vibes! With just these few components you get a high impact design. Easy wire-wrapping adds the perfect finishing touch.
What you’ll need: (buy products below)
You will need 1 Beach-Style Glass Eclipse Pendant Pair 13x21mm, 2 8-10mm recycled glass rounds, 24 gauge rose gold wire and ear wires, and conch shell heishis.
Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1: I cut 6" of wire, I always cut it longer than needed. Slide the wire through the pendant hole, hold it down and bring it back up and through the hole again. Carefully nudge it through, you don't want to kink your wire. |

Step 2: Don't go through the hole a third time keep the wire on the back side, twist the wires together once really tight. |
|
Step 3: Now both wire are securely at the top slide the beads on in the order shown. |
|
Step 4: Create a loop facing front using wire looping pliers and wrap the excess wire around the base of the loop a few times and trim. See Tip: Wire Wrap a Bail on a Teardrop |

alstephens says:I love these earrings! due to the irregular shape of the pendant, i can’t get the wire to stay wrapped around the bottom of the pendant and not slide off to the side. also, my wire is getting kinked. Any suggestions?
