Beachy Pearl Pendant

About this design:

Pearls fit perfectly into the curve of this rectangle glass pendant. The pearls elevate this glass pendant into an elegant necklace.

What you’ll need: (buy products below)

You will need freshwater pearls, 24 gauge gold wire, 16" stainless steel chain, jump rings, clasp and a beach-style rectangle pendant.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1:
Slide the pearls onto the wire, I used 6 pearls. Lay your pearl in the curved area, make sure 6 pearls fill up the curve. Feed the wire through the hole. Take the wire tail that is at the bottom and bring it down over the bottom of the pendant, then back up through the hole. Create a loop at the top. Wrap the excess wire around the base of the lop tightly. Trim any excess wire. Slide the chain on and attch your clasp.

How cool the way you ‘dressed-up’ the focal with the pearls. Nice treatment to enhance the glass. I love this site–I would never of thought of this! :)

Love the pearls and the way their back ground color shows them off. Definitely a beachy necklace and it will be beach weather soon… but not soon enough.
