My Four Corners Woven Bracelet features TOHO's new line of recycled seed beads, RE:Glass. I chose a single color in contrasting finishes for a subtle result. The beads are woven together using the pondo stitch. The pondo stitch is uncomplicated, but delivers really bold results. It works up fast and resembles right angle weave. I hope you'll give it a try! Skill Level: Advanced Beginner. Some experience with bead weaving is helpful, but not necessary :)

A general diagram of the stitch pattern we'll be repeating.
Cut about a meter of thread, a little longer or shorter as necessary for your comfort. String on your beading needle. Tip: You'll likely need to add thread at least once. To do so, simply weave in the end of your original thread, changing directions many times to secure it. Clip the tail. Add in a new length of thread the same way, weave in the beginning of the thread length by changing directions many times. Exit your needle where you left off and continue beading.
String on 4 of your color A beads. Create a loop, exiting through the first bead strung.
For this first row we'll be weaving in the Cymbal End as we work. The Cymbal End takes the place of some of the color B beads. Pass through the leftmost prong of the Cymbal End, stringing it between your two color A beads.
Pick up a color B bead and pass through the next color A bead. Continue this pattern working clockwise. Pass your thread back through all the beads added, until you're exiting the bottom of the right most color B bead, as shown.
Pick up 4 color A beads, create a loop and exit the bottom left color A bead added. Add color B beads around the loop, using the middle Cymbal End prong in place of the top color B bead. After this step, your work should look like the picture.
Pick up 4 more color A beads, create a loop and exit the left color A bead added. Add color B beads around the loop, using the rightmost Cymbal End prong in place of the top color B bead. Exit the bottom color A bead.
At this point you may have started to get a feel of the pattern. You'll be adding 4 color A beads, working from the "arm" color B bead and then filling in with color B beads. You'll continue on by adding 4 more color A beads, fill around the missing color B beads and continue.
Here's how your work will look after the second row.
Starting to work on the third row by picking up four color A beads.
Add the first color B bead.
Color B beads added all around.
Continuing on by adding 4 more color A beads.
Continue in this manner until your work reaches about 4.5-5".
The very last row you'll sew in the Cymbal End, just like in steps 3-7.
Finished adding in the Cymbal End. Weave in your thread tail and trim.
Using a 6mm jump ring, attach your lobster clasp to one end.
Using an 8x6mm oval jump, attach your chain length the other end.
Finish by adding your charm to the end of the chain with a 4mm jump ring.
