I love this simple knot technique, it can be used on any type of bead or pendant with any type of round cord. I love the idea of layering these up, just so I can show off all my pretty gemstone rounds.

Supplies you’ll need:

  • round gemstone beads 8-14mm, shop all gemstone rounds
  • Chinese knotting cord 0.8mm, shop all knotting cord
  • soldered jump rings
  • lobster clasp

Cut 1.5' of cord for this necklace. Follow the images to create this look. When finished tie the cord onto the soldered jump rings. Burn the knots slightly with a lighter to secure the knot. Use an open jump ring to attach the clasp.
