Artemis Necklace
About this design:
This short necklace is a sparkling show-stopper, perfect for an elegant affair. The plum cord brings out the finishes of the over-sized Czech glass beads. It's always fun to have a piece like this in your accessory collection. You could use any extra beads for earrings. This necklace is about 16".
What you’ll need: (buy products below)
- 3' plum 1.5mm cord (Always get extra in case you want it longer)
- 1 pack of each Czech glass fire polished rounds in 16mm, 18mm, and 20mm (products listed below)
- hinged oval clasp
- super glue

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1: Measure how long you want this necklace, use at least double the amount of cord to make this necklace. You will be knotting so you need extra cord. Cut the end of the cord at an angle so it's easy to thread through the bead holes. |

Step 2: Slide the center bead not the middle of the cord. Knot on both sides of it. To knot, I loop the cord around itself and back up through the loop. Pull the knots nice and tight. |

Step 3: This is what it should look like. |

Step 4: After you have added enough beads on to make the necklace your desired length, loop the cord through the ring on the clasp. Pull the cord down while twisting. |
|
Step 5: Once you get the the knot twist the cord back up. |
|
Step 6: Bring the cord back through the clasp and knot nice and tight. |
|
Step 7: I use a little dot of glue on my cord knots for extra security. |
