Colors in Flight Earrings
About this design:
I wanted to show an easy way to create a bead cluster look, so I used pre-made seed bead chain. I love how the colors pop against the jet bird coin.
What you’ll need: (buy products below)
- Czech glass bird 12mm coins
- 1ft of seed bead chain
- jump rings -ear posts
- head pins
Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1: Slide a bird coin onto a head pin and create a loop at the top. Trim any excess wire. Follow the tip below if you need help with this step. See Tip: Wire Wrap a Charm |

Step 2: Cut 1/2" piece of chain. There are chain links under the seed beads. Be sure to leave yourself a link at the top and at the bottom (as shown in picture). I had to cut off a seed bead barbell to expose the link so I could use it. Fine wire cutters help with this step. |

Step 3: Use the jump rings to attach the chain to the post and bead charm. |
