Rainbow fluorite stands out surrounded by coconut and pearls. It definitely has a beachy vibe. Everything is framed in this chunky antique silver chain. I made a pair of hoop earrings to match;)
Cut 2ft of beading wire. Use the head pin to create a wire wrapped loop on the Czech teardrop. Feed the wire through the hole and wrap one tail around the other. Trim off the head. Use pliers to create a loop at the top and wrap the rest round the base of the loop.
See Tip: Wire Wrap a Charm
String on the beads and Czech teardrop onto the beading wire in the order shown.
When you have all the beads on, slide the cord through a crimp bead and a wire guard. Cut two 7.25" pieces of chain. Place the wire guard over the chain link. Bring the beading wire back down through the crimp bead. Use pliers to squeeze the crimp.
Place the crimp cover over the crimp and squeeze closed using pliers.
Cut a shorter piece of chain, mine is 6.25". Use pliers to open the chain links and attach it to the chain links on each side of the necklace.
Slide one pearl onto a head pin Wrap the wire over the chain link then around create a coil at the top of the pearl. Trim any excess wire. You could always attach the pearls with jump rings instead.
Slide any extra beads you would like onto the hoops. Just use pliers to bend down the end of the hoop wire so you can slide the beads on. Bend it back up when finished.
