This classic asymmetrical style is elegant and wearable on the daily. I love the textures from the paperclip chain and the potato pearls, plus the added sparkle from the smokey charm. Instead of the potato pearls you could just use all baroque pearls as an option. Make a pair of earrings and a bracelet to match.
Cut 18" of beading cord. Slide on the pearls and seed beads in the order shown. Make sure it is long enough to fit half way around your neck.
Feed the cord through the crimp tube and wire protector (optional). Place the wire protector or cord around the paperclip chain. Feed the cord back down through the other side of the wire protector and back through the crimp tube. Crimp the tube and pinch the crimp cover closed with pliers.
Do the same as Step 2 to the other end of the cord except put the cord or wire protector over the bar loop for the clasp. This will finish the necklace.
Use a jump ring to connect the toggle to the paperclip chain. Try on the necklace before trimming your chain. Make sure the necklace is the correct length, trim the chain if you need to. The toggle should be centered.
To make your pearl bead charm, slide one baroque bead onto a head pin and create a loop at the top, wrap the wire around the base of the loop and trim. Use a jump ring to attach the, pearl and charm to the toggle.
