Easy peasy lemon squeezy! Brighten up your kitchen with this shimmering lemon plant that is simple to make.
Cut four or five 2" pieces of 18 gauge wire. Cut eight 3-4" pieces of 18 gauge wire. Use round nose pliers to create a small loop on the end so the beads won't fall off. String on the beads in any order you wish.
For the lemons, leaves, and bellflowers, I wire-wrapped them on after I strung on the beads. This technique adds more texture. String them onto a piece of 24 gauge wire. Twist the wire at the top, trim one wire tail off. Use the long piece of wire to wrap the lemons and flowers in between beads.
Start poking the beaded wires into the pot foam. This way you can see if you need more bead wires to fill it in. Once you have enough and are satisfied with how it looks, you can super glue the wire in so they don't move.
