This design by Tierracast displays toggle and button clasps doing their job by holding it together for a solid, durable finish.
For the toggle clasp bracelet, cut the Beadalon strand wire long enough to fit your wrist and add 4-5 extra inches. Sting on the beads as shown. To finish slide the bead wire through a crimp tube. Slide the wire through a wire protector. The wire protector and the bead wire should go over the toggle loop. Bring the wire back down through the crimp bead. Use pliers to tighten the crimp bead. Cover the crimp bead with a crimp cover. Close the crimp cover with pliers.
For the bloosom button bracelet, wrap Chinese knotting cord around your wrist three times. Slide the cord through the button loop. Tie a knot just below the button. Slide on a seed bead and create a knot. Repeat until the bracelet is long enough. Create a knot at the end. Leave enough space so the button will fit between the cords and create another knot. This creates a loop for your button. Glue seed beads onto the cord ends if you wish. Trim off any extra cord and use a lighter to lightly burn and seal any knots.
For the vignette button bracelet, cut enough Chinese knotting cord to wrap around your wrist twice.Fold the cord in half, where it folds create a knot with a loop that is big enough to fit over the button. Trim off one cord tail. Use a lighter to lightly burn and seal the knot. Slide the beads on in the order shown. To finish slide the cord through the button loop and create a barrel knot or any secure knot to tie it on. Trim off any extra cord and use a lighter to lightly burn and seal any knots.
