Have a need for speed? These tiny race cars will win the race. These cars are easy to make using 11/0 seed beads, you could go up in size if you prefer. Pick your favorite driver's colors. There easy to make, don't hestitate when you see all the step images. I broke the steps down in segments so it's easier to follow. This could easily be turned into a choker necklace, just add chain to the ends then add a clasp.
Cut 12" of cord. Thread a needle onto both ends. Image 1: Slide 4 seed beads onto a needle, cross the other needle through the beads. Image 2: Pull the cord tight but not so tight the beads buckle. Slide another 4 beads onto a needle and cross the other needle through the beads too. Image 3: Pull the cord tight. Image 4: Take the right needle back through the layer of beads. Image 5: Take the left needle and bring it back crossing through the same layer of beads you did with the right needle. Image 6: Pull tight
Image 1: Slide 3 beads onto a needle and cross the opposite needle through. Image 2: Pull tight. Image 3: Slide three more beads onto a needle and criss cross the needles through the beads. Image 4: Slide three more beads onto a needle and criss cross the needles through the beads. Image 5: Pull tight Image 7: Slide two beads onto a needle and criss cross the needles through the beads. Image 8: Pull tight. Image 9-10: Slide two beads onto a needle and criss cross the needles through the beads.
Time to add wheels! Image 1: Slide on a black bead. Bring the needle through the bead hole again. Pull on the loop to bring it close to the car, then pull tight. Image 2-5: Bring the working needle back through the beads working your way up to the next wheel. Image 6: Repeat Image 1. Image 7: Bring the working needle through the last set of three beads and up and through the next set of three beads. Image 8: Loop the needle through the cord on the side connecting the beads or wherever you like. Create a loop, slide the needle through the loop to knot. Image 9: Weave the cord back through some beads and trim.
This is repeating Step 3, just on the other side of the car. Image 6: Once you have brought the cord through. Bring the needle around some cord on the car so you can create a loop in order to tie a knot. Weave the cord back through some beads and trim.
Here are some of my color examples.
Bracelet steps: Image 1: Cut 16" of cord. Slide a crimp tube on, then the wire protector. Bring the wire protector over the clasp loop. Bring the cord back down through the wire protector and the crimp tube. Image 2: Loop the needle around the crimp tube again for extra security. Image 3: Crimp the tube. Image 4: I use a dot of glue on my crimp bead. Image 5: Attach the crimp cover with pliers.
Image 1: Slide on 10 seed beads. Image 2: Bring the needle through the top of the spoiler of the car and under the bottom of the car. Image 3: Bring the needle up and over the front beads of the car. Image 4: The string should be coming out of the bottom of the car. String on 10 more seed beads after each car. Keep going until the braclet is long enough.

Repeat Step 6 to add on the end jump ring to finish the bracelet. Slide any extra cord on both ends back down through some of the beads and trim.
