Supplies you’ll need:

moonstone microfaceted rectangles
6.5' of small rollo chain
4mm jump rings
eye pins
toggle clasp
oval jump rings

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1

The shortest layer (top) is 16.5", 2nd layer: 16.75" 3rd layer: 17.25", 4th layer: 17.5" Make sure these are the right sizes for you and how you like your necklaces to fit before you cut the chain. You can always add an extender on too.

Step 2

Find the center of the first (shortest) chain layer, use wire cutters to cut out 15 chain links from the center. Create a bead link out of an eye pin and a moonstone bead. Slide the bead onto the eye pin an create a loop on the opposite end using pliers or a looper tool. Follow the tip below if you need help with this. Use jump rings to attach the bead link to the center of the chain.

Step 3

For the next layer I added two links, cutting 15 links out for each bead. You can see in the picture how I stagger the beads on each layer. For the third layer I added 3 bead links the same way. Then I added two more bead links on the bottom layer. Feel free to add more bead links if you want a more dramatic look.

Step 4

To finish I took the top two layers of chain and attached a 4mm jump ring to them. Then I took the bottom two chains and attached them to a 4mm jump ring. I used an oval jump ring to attach the smaller jump rings to the toggle clasp. Do the same on the other side of the necklace.
