Horizon Glow Necklace

This necklace is a transitional piece for the season. I can see it with my summer wardrobe and my fall pastel or ivory sweaters. I used a simple barrel knot in this design. You can watch the video to learn how to make the knots.

Supplies you’ll need:

3' Horizon glow 1.5mm leather cord
6 large hole pearls
1 olive beach-style glass donut pendant

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1

Fold the cord at the end to create a loop that will fit tightly over a pearl bead. Tie an overhand knot with the loop. Trim any excess cord. String the beach-glass donut onto the center of the cord. Slide a pearl bead onto both cords; this pearl should rest just above the donut.

Step 2

For the pearls up the sides of the cord, I spaced them about 1 1/2" to 3"apart to create an asymmetrical look. Watch the video to learn how to tie the barrel knot, framing each pearl bead.

Step 3

At the end, tie one overhand knot, slide the last pearl on which will fit through the loop you made first. Tie one more overhand knot. Trim any excess cord.
