City of Lights Earrings

I was inspired to make these earrings after binge-watching the Emily in Paris series. I am addicted to the unfolding love stories, and, oh yes, the amazing couture outfits. I especially noticed a predominant asymmetrical style of earrings, which led me to these earrings ideas.

Supplies you’ll need:

Czech glass briolettes
Nunn Design roped ring
silver 24 gauge wire
silver ear post
clutch
1' small cable chain
5mm silver jump rings

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1

Cut one 3" piece of chain and one 2" piece of chain.

Step 2

Cut three 4" pieces of wire. Slide the wire through the Czech teardrop hole. Bring the wire together at the top of the teardrop and twist them together once. Take one tail of wire and wrap it around the other one more time and trim. Use pliers to create a loop at the top with the remaining wire. Wrap the excess wire around the base of the loop a few times and trim. Do the same thing to the other two teardrops.

Step 3

Connect one teardrop on the end of each chain using jump rings. Connect the third teardrop to the large roped jump ring using a smaller jump ring.

Step 4

Attach the 3" piece of chain to the clutch with a jump ring. Attach the shorter chain to the ear post. Now, attach the roped jump ring to an ear post with a smaller jump ring.
