Fleur de Perle Earrings

I was inspired to make these earrings after binge-watching the Emily in Paris series. I am addicted to the unfolding love stories, and, oh yes, the amazing couture outfits. I especially noticed a predominant asymmetrical style of earrings, which led me to these earrings ideas. Hope you enjoy this romantic, pearly pair.

Supplies you’ll need:

pearl woven bead
ear wire
ear post
clutch
Botswana agate rondelles
glass pearl rounds 4mm
pink pearl coin link
head pin
6mm jump rings
4mm gold rounds

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1

Take the earring wire with a ball and hook the ball into a space in the woven pearl bead. Use super glue to keep it in place.

Step 2

Cut 2' of thread. Feed the thread through the eye of the collapsible needle.

Image 1: Slide on one 4mm pearl 3 inches from the end, bring the needle back through the bead.
Image 2: Slide on 5 more pearls
Image 3: Bring the needle back through all 6 beads, pull tight to form a circle.
Image 4: Bring the needle through the next bead, moving left
Image 5: Slide on a gold bead
Image 6: Bring the thread with the gold bead on it behind the flower
Image 7: Bring the needle up and through the thread loop to create a knot.
Image 8: The thread should be coming out the bottom
Images 9-11: Start bringing the needle back up through the beads on the right side.
Image 12: Once you get to the top, loop the needle around the thread between the beads and through the thread loop to make one knot.
Image 13-14: Go back through all of the beads again.
Image 15: Once you are back at the top, tie two overhand knots with the thread.
Image 16: Trim off any excess thread. Use a dot of glue where you knotted.
