This knotted bracelet is elegantly simple and yet easy enough to make and share.
Cut 5' of cord. I like working with a little extra cord. Fold the cord in half. Slide the eye part of the clasp onto the center of the cord. Tie 4 overhand knots.
Feed both tail ends of the cord through the needle eye. Start by sliding a bead on. Watch the video above to learn how to tie these simple knots that won't kink.
To finish, slide the hook part of the toggle clasp on, just as you did the beads. Tie the knot just like in the video for a bead. Now, wrap both cords around the knot in opposite directions a couple of times tightly. Tie a couple of overhand knots.
Trim any extra cord. Use a lighter to burn the knots slightly to seal them. You could use a dab of gel-based glue instead.
