Blue chalcedony nuggets shine in this modern beach-style necklace set. The blue chalcedony necklace is 18" long, and the shell necklace is 16" long. You can order extra chain if you want a longer version.

Supplies you’ll need:

3 feet of enamel stainless steel chain
4mm & 5mm stainless jump rings
eye pins
Chalcedony Simple Cut Nuggets
2 lobster clasps
mother-of-pearl scallop focal

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1

Blue chalcedony necklace: The total length of this necklace is 18", including the clasp. Create 9 bead links out of the blue chalcedony nuggets. Slide a bead onto an eye pin. Use the looper tool to create a loop on the opposite end. You can use round-nose pliers if you don't have a looper tool. Follow the tip below if you need help making a loop with pliers.

Step 2

Cut 24 pieces of chain that are 0.75" long. Use a jump ring to connect the bead link to three pieces of chain. Keep using jump rings to connect the chains and bead links.

Step 3

Add 2" of chain to each end of the necklace. Attach the lobster clasp. You can use the extra jump rngs on the opposite side for an extender.

Step 4

Shell necklace: Cut 16" of chain. Use a 5mm jump ring to connect the shell to the chain. To finish, add a jump ring and a clasp to the ends of the chain.
