Wild sun-ripened berries and a berry palette of Linhasita cord (the darkest red cord has a soft pitanga (Brazilian cherry) scent) come together to create the freshest summer stack.
Cut 2 pieces of each color of Linhasita at 2.5' in length. Line the matching colors up together. Use a lighter to burn the ends slightly, and push them together to form a slight point. Place the cords up to the end of the cork cord. You can add a touch of gel-based glue onto the cork for extra security if you like. Place the crimp over the cord and Linhasita cord ends. Secure the crimp firmly using your pliers. Next, trim the cork cord to fit your wrist. Keep in mind: Adding the jump ring and clasp will extend the final bracelet length by about a 1/2 inch.
Watch the video to learn how to tie the knot.
When you have finished knotting, wrap the cord around the cork one last time to create a knot. Trim the ends of the cord so they line up. Use the lighter to burn the ends, like at the beginning to form a point. Lay the ends flat onto the cord so you can place the crimp end over the cord and the Linahasita cord.
Add the jump rings and clasp onto the crimp ends.
Cut 10" of elastic cord. Stretch the cord vigorously to make it more pliable for knotting. Attach jump rings to the berry charms. Slide the beads and charms on in the order shown.
Create a surgeon's knot to finish. Image 1: Place the left cord in front of the right cord to create an overhand knot. Image 2: Bring the right cord over in front of the left. Image 3: Bring the right cord around the left twice. Image 4: Use an awl in between the two knots so you can pull really tight. Image 5: Gently pull the knot from all sides until it no longer slips. Image 6: Add a dot of gel-based glue, like hypo-cement (optional). Hide the knot under a brass bead.
