This dainty bracelet shines with elegant sparkle and beachy, blooming mother-of-pearl. Radiating soft, sandy tones, this stack is the perfect accessory for an oceanside escape.
Cut 2 and 1/2 arm lengths of cord. Fold the cord in half, and create an overhand knot. This will create a loop that will fit around the flower. Make sure that before you tighten the larger flower will fit tightly through the loop.
Thread each end onto its own needle. Slide the first few beads on. You will feed one cord through the beads at a time.
Watch the video above to learn how to make the knots in between the beads. Slide the first bead down to the loop and create a knot, then slide down the next bead and repeat.
Image 1: Slide on a flower bead. Create an overhand knot with both cords. Tighten the knot down to the center of the flower. Image 2: String a seed bead onto one cord. Image 3: Bring the seed bead cord back down through the flower hole. Bring the second cord end down through the flower hole. Tie a knot like the video shows. Slide more lantern beads on. Create knots in between each bead.
Repeat the pattern until your bracelet is long enough. Slide on the larger flower at the end just like you did the other flowers. Tie two overhand knots to secure the flower. Trim excess cord and burn the trimmed ends just enough to melt them a little with a lighter, then press down on it to seal the knots.
For the single large hole pearl bracelet. Cut 2 and a 1/2 are lengths of cord. Fold in half and create a loop, just like you did in step 1. Slide the first half of the beads on as shown. Knot the beads as shown in the video.
When you get to the large hole, pearl. If you want a space in between the beads, create two overhand knots on either side or at least until the knot is big enough to go through the bead. Or, you can just leave it and let the pearl rest next to the lantern beads.
Slide the other half of the beads onto both cords. Continue knotting. Slide on the larger flower at the end just like you did the other flowers. Tie two overhand knots to secure the flower. Trim excess cord and burn the trimmed ends just enough to melt them a little with a lighter, then press down on it to seal the knots.
