A softened tropical aesthetic makes this necklace a timeless, all-season staple. This necklace is 18" long, not including the extender.
Cut 26" of beading wire. Slide the beads on in the order shown.
The image is from a different design but shows how to thread the beading wire through the crimp tube and wire protector. Feed the wire through the crimp tube and one side of the wire protector, and back down the other side and back through the crimp tube and through a few beads. Use crimping pliers to crimp the tube. Trim any extra cord. Attach the crimp cover with pliers. Do the same on the other side.
See Tip: Crimping Basics
Create the extender by creating 3 bead links. Slide a small brass rondelle, a heishi bead, and another small rondelle onto an eye pin. Create a loop at the other end with round-nose pliers. Make 3 of these. Attach three jump rings to one side of the necklace. Attach the bead links to the jump rings.
See Tip: Wire Wrap a Bead Link
Attach the lobster clasp to the other side of the necklce with a jump ring.
