Cut nine 2" pieces of the larger/heavier link chain you chose. Connect the two-inch pieces between each gemstone link.
For the longest layer, I attached 5.5" of chain to the end of the last bead links. For the middle layer, I attached 4.75" pieces of chain to the last bead links. Use the same jump rings. For the shortest layer, I attached 11.5" of delicate or small chain to each side of the rock crystal link.
Connect each end of the chain to the 3-1 connector link on each side. Attach the clasp with a jump ring.
