I have several vintage images of New York City from a desk calendar. I used a portion of this map as the backdrop for the ring. I coiled up wire to represent how we got lost in NYC and straightened it out at the end with an amber bead to mark our destination.
It is really important to seal your paper before you pour the resin. Once the paper has been sealed, you can pour your resin layering in the wire and bead.
