The warm colors, texture of the tassels, and raw handmade quality of the African brass beads work well together and give me the feeling that I've just returned from a long journey.
The products used in this project are listed below.
Create a wire wrapped loop link stringing your wire through the open pattern in the side of the each of the 3 beads.
Layout the pattern you want to use for your tassel collection that will hang below your African brass beaded link.
String a link of chain through the top loop of your tassel.
Attach your links of chain to eachother forming a chain of tassels.
Now it's time to make the necklace chain. You need to cut 2 4-link segments of chain and 2 3-link segments of chain. Make a wire wrapped bead link using 7 gray crystals connecting this on one end to the focal and on the other end to the 4-link segment of chain. Next make a wire wrapped bead link using 8 oiled bronze etched crystals connecting on one end to the 4-link segment and on the other end to a 3-link segment of chain. Finally make a wire wrapped bead link using 2 oiled bronze etched crystals connecting on one end to the 3-link segment and on the other end to the remaining length of necklace chain. Repeat these steps for the other side of the necklace. (see image)
