I've been really looking forward to creating something with these great new African Brass pieces- they add a unique focal element to any design. Lately I've been liking this color combination of oranges & blues, but the brass is a fun compliment to any color combination!
Begin by making two bead links with the African Brass triple disc.
Make 4 bead links with the tiny African Brass discs with a white bead on each end.
link a 1.75" piece of wire around one end of the triple disc bead. Slide on the turquoise beads, the orange beads, the gold spacers & the 4 bead links from step 2 in the order shown in the picture & attach the other end to the other triple disc bead.
Make 4 bead links with the blue rounds. Attach them directly to the bead links from step 2. Attach a 3" piece of brass disc chain to each end of the triple disc bead.
Loop a 4" piece of beading wire through the bottom of two of the bead links.
Slide on an orange bead, white bead, brass disc, another white bead, orange bead, brass tie, orange bead, and another white bead. make a small loop at the bottom & secure with a crimp. Attach a white tassel to the loop.
Loop a 19" piece of beading wire through the top of the triple disc brass bead & secure with a crimp tube.
Slide the beads onto both strands in the order shown in the picture. Make a loop at the end & secure with a crimp. Repeat on the other side of the necklace.
Make a link with the large brass coin & attach to the top of the triple disc pieces.
