For this necklace, I made the Mermaid bead into a focal by creating a frame using wire with Czech Glass rounds & spacers. I love this white/gold/rose color combination & how perfectly it goes with the crystal chain.

Supplies you’ll need:

Crystal Bead Chain
Gold Chain
Czech Glass Mermaid Beads
Czech Glass Rounds & Spacers
Gold 22 or 24 Gauge Wire
Gold 8/0 Seed Beads
Beading Wire
Gold Crimp Tubes
Lobster Clasp
Jump Rings

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1

Make an oval with the wire.

Step 2

With another piece of wire, make a bead link by sliding on 2 gold seed beads, a mermaid bead, and two more seed beads.

Step 3

Slide the beads onto the wire oval (with the bead link in the center) in the order shown in the picture. Make a loop at the top with the round nose pliers.

Step 4

With jump rings, connect about 3" of Clear & Champagne Crystal Chain to each side of the pendant. Connect your desired length of plain gold chain to the crystal chain. Attach a 1" piece of Champagne Crystal Chain to the pendant. Attach two pieces of gold chain from the top of this piece to the top of the double strands of chain.

Step 5

For the bracelet, make a loop on one end of the beading wire and secure with a crimp tube. Slide on the beads in the order shown in the picture. Finish by looping the beading wire through a lobster clasp & secure with a crimp.
