Lua Wai Necklace
About this design:
This necklace looks complex, but is actually super easy to make- just a series of graduated bead links connected to bar links. I think it's just statement making enough, and the perfect accessory for summer!
What you’ll need: (buy products below)
- Coin Charms (13)
- Bar Links (13)
- Apatite Faceted Round 3mm Beads
- 22 or 24 Gauge Silver Wire
- Beading Wire
- Red Agate Faceted Rondelle 3x4mm
- Silver Crimp Tubes
- Silver 3mm Jump Rings
- Lobster Clasp
- Cable Chain

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1: Begin by attaching the coin charms to the bar links (you'll need 13 coins & 13 bars) with the jump rings. Next, make the bead links with the Red Agate (look to the picture for how many beads should go on each link). You'll be attaching the links directly to the top of the silver bar links. |

Step 2: Next, you'll need two 6.5" pieces of chain. Attach a 4" piece of beading wire to the chain with a crimp tube. Slide on the Apatite & the links in the order shown in the picture. Attach another 6.5" piece of chain to the other end of the wire. Finish by attaching a jump ring & lobster clasp to the ends of the chain. |
