I loved the earthy, boho vibe of the storm gray wood beads combined with the natural wood beads. I added in the large hole howlite gemstones rounds because howlite is known to have a calming effect on the wearer. This is definitely a bracelet I will be wearing this spring/summer, I should make a stack:)
You will need: 10mm faceted storm wood beads, 10mm natural wood beads, large hole howlite 8mm beads, 3ft of 1.5mm leather cord, spacer beads, and 14mm natural striped round wood beads. I added another option for the spacer beads. I used the Greek pewter spacer in this design.
Wrap the leather around your wrist to measure, plus 2" extra, then cut. String the beads onto the cord in the order shown.
Next, knot the cord at the end of the beads on each side.
Now cut about 1-1.5ft of cord. Lay your leather ends crossed on top of each other. Then take your 1-1.5ft cut piece of leather cord under both cord ends and take one end under and and one end over and under, the cut cord should now be criss crossed over each other. You can check our the tip and technique as well. Now pull the cord tight. You should be able to slide it up and down.
See Tip: Tying the Sliding Square Knot
Create a few more square knots until fills the space you want it.
Knot the cord when you are done with your sliding knot. I add a dot of glue to secure only my ending knot.
I added some more spacer beads to add some detail to my leather tails:)
