I wanted to create a bracelet with large hole gemstone rondelles, there are several types of stones to pick from. Plus, I love the sparkles in the goldstone beads. I wanted to try a leather cord design, because I know I will wear it often:) This bracelet is really simple to make. The rondelles really stand out framed in the leather cord.

Supplies you’ll need:

You will need 5-6 large hole gemstone rondelles, 2 ft leather bolo cord, 2 ft 1.5mm leather cord, glue-in cord ends, 2 jump rings, and a clasp.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1

Cut your bolo cord to fit your wrist. I started my square knot so it started at the side of my wrist. Wrap the blue cord around and overhand tie it once, now you can start your square knot. I made 4 square knots then added a bead. See the tip below to learn how to create a square knot.

Step 2

To attach your beads slide the rondelle onto the bolo cord. The blue cord will go over the bead. Now create two more square knots. After every bead I made two square knots. Make the knots nice and tight.
