Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1:
Begin with a 3" piece of beading wire. Slide one end of the wire through the end link of a 7" piece of chain & secure with a crimp tube/cover. Slide on the beads (I used seed beads & pearls) in the order shown in the picture. Finish by looping the end of the wire through another 7" piece of chain and back down through a crimp tube. Clamp down on the crimp tube to secure & cover with a crimp cover. Finish by attaching jump rings & a lobster clasp to the ends. *To make the bead charms, slide a carnelian 4mm round, a Cloisonné rondelle, and an African brass bead onto a headpin & make a loop at the top*.
Step 2:
Make a loop at one end of an 8.5" piece of beading wire & secure with a crimp tube & cover. Slide the beads on on the order shown. I used a mix of Czech glass, seed beads, gemstones, & African brass (the exact beads I used are listed below). Once you've strung on the beads, finish by looping the end of the wire through a soldered jump ring and back down through a crimp tube. Clamp down on the crimp tube to secure & cover with a crimp cover. Repeat these steps for the other side of the necklace, except attach a lobster clasp to the end instead of a soldered jump ring.
Step 3:
Use jump rings to attach a 1/2" piece of chain to the bottoms of the beaded wire from step 2. Attach a moonstone link to each piece of chain with jump rings. Use the 24 gauge wire to make 3 bead links (all attached to one another) with the Cloisonné Beads, gold Rondelles, and seed beads. Attach these links to the ends of the moonstone links with 3mm jump rings. Use jump rings to attach a 5" piece of chain to the moonstone links. Make 6 bead charms with the headpins & seed beads & attach directly to the chain. Make another bead charm with a Cloisonné rondelle, gold spacers, and seed beads. Attach directly to the center of the chain.
