Seaside Oasis Earrings
by Elaina W on 05/20/21
About this design:
These Cloisonné & seed bead statement earrings are so fun to wear and instantly brighten up your outfit! I love the blue & green color palette, and the seed beads & gold chain are the perfect compliment to the Cloisonné bead caps!
What you’ll need: (buy products below)
- Cloisonné Bead Caps
- Gold Chain
- 11/0 Seed Beads
- Gold Head Pins
- Ear Wires
- Gold Wire
- Jump Rings
Step-by-Step Instructions:
![]() |
Step 1: Begin with a 2" piece of 24 gauge wire. Make a loop at one end (see the attached tip). Cut 12 pieces of chain, ranging from 1.5"-2" long. Slide the pieces of chain onto a jump ring & attach the jump ring to the loop at the end of your piece of wire. See Tip: Make a Wire Wrapped Bead Link |

Step 2: Slide the bead cap onto the wire and make a loop at the top. See Tip: Make a Wire Wrapped Bead Link |

Step 3: Use the headpins & seed beads to make bead charms. Attach the charms directly to the ends of the chain. I made the charms different lengths, so you'll need to cut some of your pieces of chain to be shorter, so all of the strands end up being close to the same length after the beads are attached. See Tip: Wire Wrap a Charm |

Step 4: Finish by sliding the top loop above the bead cap onto an ear wire. |

J Gibford says:Those are so gorgeous…how hard are they to make. I am rather new to making earrings and have never worked with chain and the seed beads look so darn little! And how do you get all that chain to fit into that little flower cap??? Nonetheless, they are one of the most gorgeous pair I have seen! Fabulous job!!! A+
