This magical pendant lures your eyes to its beautifully detailed mermaid. The owyhee blue opal beads have the perfect sea faring style to pair with this pendant.

Supplies you’ll need:

  • Owyhee Blue Opal heishi beads
  • Green Girl Mermaid Pendant
  • Czech Glass murex shells
  • Beadalon elastic cord 0.7mm
  • 1 large hole pearl bead
  • head pins
  • hoop ear wire

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1

Cut the elastic cord a few inches longer than your desired length. String the owyhee beads onto the cord. Slide the large hole pearl bead on last, this is where your knot will hide. Tie a double knot, you could use a dab of super glue on your knot for extra durability.

Step 2

I used some Linhasita waxed cord to tie on my pendant. You could use a different cord or a jump ring.

Step 3

Slide the beads onto the head pin in the order shown. You can use the pearl or one of the Czech glass rondelles I added to the product list. Create a loop at the top. Slide the earring onto the hoop ear wire.
