This bright stack is blooming with sophisticated whimsy. The Linhasita cord adds color and soft texture to the metal beads. This spiral knot is so easy, it's a great beginner knot to try.
Recommended tools: sharp scissors and a lighter
Cut a 30" piece of each colored cord. Tape or clip the cords down to a table or clipboard, leaving at least 4" from the ends before starting your knot.
I started with the green cord. Image 1: Make an L with the green cord. The green cord goes over the other two colors. Image 2: Bring the green cord under the two colors and up through the green loop. Pull the tail up to tighten. I made enough knots that equaled about 3/4" in length.
Now I moved onto the pink, repeating the same knotting technique as shown in Step 2. Create enough knots to make 3/4". Slide a flower bead onto all 3 cords. You can adjust the spiral if needed by twisting it.
Create another set of knots using the purple cord. Slide on another flower bead. Move on to knotting another set of the green cord. Slide on the last flower bead.
Move on to knotting another set of the green cord. Slide on the last flower bead. Finish the bracelet with a set of pink knots and a set of purple knots.
Image 1: Finish the bracelet by sliding the cord tails through the ring on the clasp. Wrap the cord around your finger, going to the left. Slide the cord loops of your finger just enough to slide the tails through. The tails should slide through the cord loops to the right. Pull the tails very tight, making sure there is no space between the spiral knots and the barre knot. Image 2: Trim off the cord ends. Image 3: Use a lighter to burn the trimmed cord and melt the cord wax enough to seal the knot.
